Gokuu is the star of the Dragonball series and movies. He is a pure blood Saiya-jin descendant of Bardock (Bardock was killed by Freezer with all the other Saiya-jins before the destruction of their planet). As a baby Gokuu was sent to Earth, his mission was to destroy it's inhabitants and prepare the planet for the selling (baby saiya-jins had the sufficient power to destroy weak civilizations "like" Earth). Gokuu was found and raised by Son Goham, when Goham died gokuu wandered through Earth searching for the Dragon Balls. Gokuu married Chi-Chi and is the father of Goham and Gotem. He is the first Saiya-jin that turn to super Saiya-jin. Gokuu's first martial arts teachers were: Goham, Master Roshi, and Kaio-Sama. Gokuu fights only for good.
Son Gokuu

Goham is the son of Gokuu, he was named after Gokuu's adoptive father, he is half Saiya-jin (half saiya-jin and half human). He is the brother of gotem. He was introduced in the beginning of Dragonball-z. As a child Goham was very scared and cowardlish; all that changed after he began training with Piccolo. He also fight for good and get very sentimental about his family and friends. Being half saiya-jin Goham is very powerful specially when he gets angry; In this a tremendous rage overcomes him and releases hidden powers. Goham later marries Videl and has a daughter called Pan-cha. Gohan is very fond of Piccolo.

Krilin is Gokuu best friend, he also trained with master Roshi when he was a kid. He is 100% Human and is considered the most powerful one too. Krilin is very short, he also has six red dots on his forehead. He had his share of girlfriends, but at the end marries an android and has one child. Did I mention that he is also bald? One time master Roshi hypnotize Gokuu in believing that Krilin's head was the moon, and as a result Gokuu transformed into a giant Oozaru.

Chi-Chi is Goham's mother and Gokuu's wife (She is the only thing Gokuu is scared of). She also started as a fighter in the first series of dragonball. After Gokuu defeated him she decided she was going to marry him. She is obsessed with Goham's studies, and forbids him to play with Gokuu's friends. She is the daughter of the Ox king.

Vegeta is prince of the Saiya-Jins and one of the most powerful Saiya-Jins. When vegeta was a young boy he surpassed his father�s power level despite his age. Vegeta had dreamed of being the most powerful of the Saiya-Jins and being the legendary Super Saiya-Jin. He knew that there were other, more powerful races, but he would be the best of all the Saiya-Jins. Vegeta makes his first appearance with his partner, Nappa. Vegeta comes to Earth with Nappa and they wreak havoc destroying buildings and killing people. Nappa also does a number on the Z fighters (who were very weak at the time). Once Gokuu gets back from Kaio-Sama�s place, he makes short work of Nappa who is then killed by Vegeta. Vegeta challenges Gokuu after Gokuu refuses to fight on his side. They fight and it becomes evident that Gokuu is more powerful, this pisses Vegeta off, and he eventually goes Oozaru and kicks the crap out of Gokuu (if you are new to Dragon Ball, Gokuu could not go Oozaru because he had his tail cut off). Eventually, Vegeta becomes closer and closer to Gokuu�s side. Vegeta is always angry at not being as strong as Gokuu. Vegeta has married Bulma and is father to Trunks. Vegeta has always been a recluse like Picolo. Vegeta is also one of my favorite Saiya-jin, he is always mad because he was almost the last to reach super Saiya-jin form.

Bulma is an earthling, mother of Trunks and wife to Vegeta. I don't really know how she became Vegeta's wife but I guess that they had it coming. Bulma is also introduced from the beginning of Dragon ball, she was looking for the dragonballs so she could wish for a boyfriend. Bulma is not strong but her intelligence is really incredible. Her father is a genius, he is the owner of Capsule Corporation, and was responsible in building Gokuu's ship when he went to Namekusei.

He is one of my favorite characters. He is very funny and "wise". Master Roshi has over 300 years, he is a martial art expert. He taught Gokuu, Krilin, and Yamcha. He is the winner of many tournaments (mostly because he cheated). And finally he is a big pervert (started being a pervert when he was about 123 years old, when he began buying porno mags). He is also one of Gokuu's loyal friend.

Tenshinhan or Ten is an Earthling warrior. He is about Gokuu's height and is pretty muscular. Ten also has 3 eyes. He has two normal eyes, and then one stranger looking eye on the top of his head. It is kind of triangular. Ten is good friends with Chaozu. He is about equal in strength with Yamcha. He does not have a girl friend or any other relations. When he was first killed he trained with Kami-zama along with Yamcha and Chaozu.

He is Tenshinhan best friend, and very powerful for a short guy. I don't know where he's from butI'mm sure he is not from Earth.

Yamcha is another Earthling warriors in Dragon Ball. He is good friends with a shape-shifting cat name Puel. He was one of the people who lost his life fighting against Vegeta and Nappa, but of course he was wished back with the Dragon Balls. Bulma has a huge crush on Yamcha. Bulma of course, being moody as she is, sometimes hates Yamcha, but then she always realizes she loves him in the end. Yamcha has an x-like scar on his left cheek (he resembles a fighter from a Japanese series called Samurai X, "Batusai").

Piccolo or Dai Piccolo is a namek. His story also started a long time ago. Many years ago, when Namekusei was about to be destroyed, piccolo's fathers sent him to earth so he can survive. At that time Piccolo was still a small child, he spent many years in his ship waiting for his family to land. He finally gave up and roamed the earth for many years. When he was older he took the place as earth guardian, but for making it possible he was suppose to be pure good. So he split into two nameks: Piccolo (who was evil) and Kami (pure good). This Piccolo was later defeated by Gokuu and when he almost died an egg sprung out of him transforming into the Piccolo we Know. Piccolo was still Gokuu's adversary until he teamed with him for defeating Raditz (Gokuu's brother). He trained Goham and came to love him as a son. Later on Piccolo merges with another Namek and becomes even more powerful.
Piccolo

Trunks is half-Human, half-Saiya-jin as well, but his father is Vegeta and mother is Bulma. Because he is Vegeta's son (Vegeta being weaker than Gokuu), he is not as strong as Gohan, but because he trained hard, he is stronger than Goten. Trunks reached super Saiya-jin when he was angered by Goham's death. Trunks ttraveledfrom the future to the past so he could warn the fighters about the evil androids. Trunks has purple hair, and always carries a sword.
Trunks

He is Gokuu's second son, so he has about as much power ppotentialas Gohan does, but because he never trained enough to become as powerful, he remains weaker. He is still rather strong, and a good ally in fights.

Big, bald, and incredibly stupid, this elite class Saiya-jin (and also Vegeta's partner) killed quite a few Z-teamers before he was finished off.

He is kami's assistant. He is a fat black guy that resembles an African - Iindoperson. He knows how to teleport and fly on a magic carpet.

He is also one of my favorite characters. He resembles a giant green rosh with a tasteless but funny sense of humor. He becomes Gokuu's master when he was killed by Raditz, he teaches him the henki-dama, and other techniques. He is a very loyal friend of Gokuu. I've never seen him fight so I don't know how powerful he is, but my guess is that he can beat the crap out of anyone.

Pan-Chan is Gokuu's granddaughter. Pan-Chan is the most powerful female in all of Dragonball. She is also a kind of adopted granddaughter to Mr. Satan. Pan-Chan makes her first appearance in the first episode of Dragonball GT. Pan-chan is about 11 or so. She wants to be an adult and hates being treated like a little kid. For example, despite the fact that she hates coffee she drinks it because she thinks it makes her look more adult. She wears a red bandanna. She is 1/4 Saiya-jin, she is Gohan and Videl's daughter. Pan-Chan's name is actually Pan, but the chan on it is kind of like saying cute Pan, (it implies that she is young) but it is used more widely. Pan-Chan also refuses to refer to Trunks as Trunks-san (that's just a basic form of respect for elders), she will only call him Trunks. Pan-Chan is also very adventurous and can get into trouble a lot.
